We have three units, namely Easthill Cottage, Westhill Cottage and The Boathouse.
 In total, the entire guesthouse can accommodate 16 guests.

 Each unit has it’s own private patio with outdoor furniture and braai area.

We bought the land in 2000 and developed the property over the next few years. We used it exclusive as a holiday home for twenty years, until we decided to expand it into a guesthouse in 2020.

We look forward to welcoming you to Sedgefield Lodge! We strive to offer you an experience that will make you feel like you are at your home away from home.

GUEST EXPERIENCES

Dis die ideale rus plek, skoon en netjies. Die kamers is groot met genoeg spasie. Ons 2 Bull Terriers het dit net so geniet soos ons, daar was genoeg plek vir hul om te hardloop en te speel. Hulle het dit ook geniet om in die rivier te swem. Mense met bote sal dit ook baie geniet. Ons was daar meer vir visvang, tussen 9 uur die oggend tot 6 uur was maar moeilik vir die visvang met al die bote, maar dit raak na 6 uur rustig. Ons het wel karp gevang wat mooi en gesond was, en die rivier water is ook ongelooflik skoon. Sedgefield Lodge was rerig vir ons ’n lekker plek, en ons sal gou weer met ons honde kinders daar gaan kuier

Thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at Sedgefield Lodge. Warm hosts and their dogs are just as welcoming. The place has beautiful views of the river/lake. It'a quiet and secluded. The house itself is beautiful. You have everything you need. The bedroom is a spacious, electric blanket for cold nights, everything is clean. And plenty of books to read for bookworms. We have to visit again for a longer stay. Thanks to Michelle and husband for hosting us.

Baie oulike plek. Sal vir seker volgende keer die boothuis bespreek vir ons familie en vriende. My 2 Jack Russels het vinnig bevriend geraak met ons gasvrou se 4-pootkinders. Manne kon lekker visvang. Butler was altyd behulpsaam en vriendelik. Uitsig oor die water in die oggend en aand bring rustigheid en kalmte. Die beste was die sebras wat rustig gewei het op die gras voor ons huisie. Dis vir seker 5-ster werd.
